Dear Hustle Families,
Welcome to the Summer Hustle Grassroots League (G-League) – where development meets competition! While summer is typically a lighter season, we’re thrilled to have over 600 players registered and ready to hit the court. This speaks volumes about the energy, growth, and excitement around Hustle Basketball. As we gear up for tip-off this week, we want to share a few key details to help your season get started on the right foot.
First and foremost, welcome to the league! Initial rosters have been completed, but PLEASE NOTE: ROSTERS AND PRACTICE SCHEDULES MAY STILL CHANGE DURING WEEK 1. We ask for your flexibility as we work through the process of ensuring balanced teams, accommodating special requests, and finalizing details.
We begin the season this week with Hustle Training & Evaluations, led by Head Trainer Q. Goodin and our outstanding Hustle training staff. These sessions are a crucial part of setting the tone and preparing each player for a great season. Coaches will join the sessions following our internal coaches’ meeting to support team development.

Please download the Playbook Connect app on your phone. This will be your go-to resource for practice times, game schedules, team info, and more. Your family can login using the email that you registered your player with.
Again, we want to emphasize: ROSTERS AND PRACTICE SCHEDULES MAY STILL CHANGE – NOTHING IS FINAL YET. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we fine-tune everything for the best experience possible.

The custom uniforms are being ordered now and will be distributed prior to our first regular season game. For the pre-season game, players will be provided with Hustle pinnies.

As we get ready for tonight’s Spring G-League Ohio playoffs, we wanted to take a moment to thank our 7U and 9U teams for a great season. While your division won’t be participating in the playoff games due to limited team matchups, your hard work, commitment, and improvement over the last few months did not go unnoticed.
From our entire coaching and admin team—thank you for showing up, staying locked in, and helping build something special here in Ohio. We’re proud of how your players developed and competed each week.
We’ll be back in Ohio later this year and will reach out as soon as dates are confirmed.

Thank you for being part of our Spring G-League session in Ohio. While most teams had a strong experience, we know a few divisions faced challenges with lower numbers. Even so, our coaches and trainers have brought great energy, passion, and care each week—and we truly hope your player felt that support, had fun, and continued growing their game.

We also want to give you a quick heads-up about our Summer session: While we were excited to continue momentum into summer, registration numbers haven't quite reached the level needed to run the league as intended. In partnership with Spooky Nook, we’ve decided to pause the Ohio Summer session and focus on relaunching later this year with a stronger co-marketing push and to ensure that we have enough Ohio teams in every division to run the league to our standards.

G-League All-Star Sunday – Important Info for Ohio Families

Dear Hustle Ohio Families,
We’re excited to wrap up the Spring G-League session with our biggest event of the season — All-Star Sunday on June 8th!
This year’s celebration will take place at Griffin Elite in Kentucky. We know this involves some extra travel for our Ohio families, and we truly appreciate your flexibility and support.
Here’s why we chose Griffin Elite:

It offers the space and setup to host all age groups in one location, giving us the ability to run All-Star Games, 3-on-3 tournaments, and contests all day long and on the weekend.

The facility provides a professional environment with multiple courts and a dedicated showcase court, helping us celebrate the players in the best possible way.

It allows players from both states to come together, building community and healthy competition across our full G-League program.
We hope you'll make the trip and be part of this special day. Your athlete will still arrive and play only during their division’s scheduled time — there’s no need to stay all day unless you want to catch the action.
👉 Players should wear their uniforms and arrive ready to go at their time slot.
👉 All-Stars will be announced at the beginning of each division's window.
👉 Non-All-Star players will compete in a 3-on-3 tourney and contests on the other courts.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at our 2025 Spring G-League All-Star Game, happening TOMORROW — Sunday, June 8th at Griffin Elite Sports & Wellness (700 Dolwick Drive, Erlanger, KY 41018).
This exciting day will feature ALL players from both Kentucky and Ohio G-League programs, showcasing their skills in All-Star matchups, 3-on-3 games, and contests throughout the day. All-Star game selections will be announced right before game time and all other players will compete in the 3 on 3 / Contests.
